Description
24V RGB+CCT COB LED Strip Light – Dotless Colour Changing Tape with 2700K–6500K Tunable White
Transform domestic, retail and commercial spaces with our professional-grade 24V RGB+CCT COB LED Strip Light. This advanced LED tape combines full-colour RGB lighting with dedicated warm-white and cool-white LEDs, providing an extensive choice of colours together with genuine, high-quality white light.
The high-density 660 LEDs per metre COB construction creates a smooth, continuous and virtually dotless line of light. Unlike conventional LED strip lights where the individual LED points can often be seen, COB technology produces a cleaner and more uniform lighting effect.
Choose from millions of RGB colours for decorative, ambient and feature lighting, or select a white colour temperature between 2700K warm white and 6500K daylight white. This makes the strip suitable for both colourful mood lighting and practical everyday illumination.
What Does RGB+CCT Mean?
RGB+CCT combines two separate lighting systems within one LED strip:
- RGB uses red, green and blue light channels to create millions of different colours
- CCT uses dedicated warm-white and cool-white light channels to produce adjustable white light from 2700K to 6500K
A standard RGB LED strip does not contain dedicated white LEDs. When a normal RGB strip is set to white, it mixes red, green and blue together to approximate white. This mixed RGB white may appear slightly blue, uneven or less natural and is generally unsuitable where good-quality white illumination is required.
This RGB+CCT strip includes dedicated white-light channels in addition to the RGB colour channels. It can therefore produce vibrant colours as well as genuine warm, neutral and cool white light. You do not need to choose between a colour-changing strip and a white strip because this product provides both within one tape.

Control Options
A compatible RGB+CCT controller is required to control the individual colour and white-light channels. Depending on the selected controller, the tape can be operated using a handheld remote control, compatible smartphone app or supported smart-control system.
Available functions may include colour selection, adjustable brightness, warm-to-cool white adjustment, colour-changing effects, speed control, scenes, schedules and grouping of multiple controllers.
Please ensure that the controller is specifically designed for RGB+CCT five-channel LED strip. Standard single-colour, RGB-only, RGBW or CCT-only controllers are not suitable for controlling all functions of this tape.
Maximum Run and Multiple-Zone Setups
We can configure this strip as a system with a maximum tape length of 15 metres per correctly rated power supply and RGB+CCT controller. The installation must use a suitably rated 24V power supply, controller, cable and power-injection arrangement.
At its maximum rated consumption of 22W per metre, a 15m installation may require up to approximately 330W. The power supply and controller must be selected with suitable additional capacity and must not be continuously operated beyond their rated output.
Longer total installations can be divided into additional sections. Each additional section can be supplied with its own compatible controller and 24V power supply. Compatible controllers can then be grouped so that all sections operate together from one remote control or one app.
This allows larger installations, such as 20m, 30m, 40m, 50m or 100m projects, to change colour, adjust the white colour temperature and dim together as one coordinated lighting system.
Please contact us with your required total length and installation layout. We can help specify the correct number of controllers, power supplies, power-injection points and control equipment.
Installation Advice
Before fitting the LED tape, ensure that the mounting surface is clean, dry, smooth and free from dust, grease and moisture. Position the tape carefully and avoid repeatedly removing and reapplying it.
For the best professional finish, protection and heat management, we recommend installing the tape inside a suitable aluminium LED profile .
This product operates at 24V DC and requires a compatible constant-voltage 24V LED power supply. It must not be connected directly to a 230V mains electrical supply.
The power supply must be correctly rated for the total installed tape length. At the maximum stated consumption of 22W per metre, a 5m length may require up to approximately 110W and a 10m length may require up to approximately 220W.
We recommend allowing additional power-supply capacity rather than selecting a power supply that will operate continuously at its maximum rating. The required capacity may also depend on the controller, cable length, installation layout and selected lighting settings.
Longer runs may require power injection at additional points to minimise voltage drop and maintain consistent colour and brightness. Power injection is particularly important with high-output RGB+CCT strip because all lighting channels require sufficient current.
The tape can be cut at the marked 30mm cutting points. Always cut directly through the marked cutting line. Cutting elsewhere may permanently damage the circuit and prevent the affected section from operating correctly.
Electrical connections should be completed using compatible 12mm RGB+CCT COB strip connectors or correctly soldered cable joints. Always confirm the tape width, conductor arrangement, polarity and controller compatibility before installation.

FAQs
What does RGB+CCT mean?
RGB+CCT means that the strip contains red, green and blue colour channels together with dedicated warm-white and cool-white channels. It can produce millions of colours as well as adjustable white light from 2700K to 6500K.
What is the difference between RGB and RGB+CCT LED strip?
Standard RGB strip uses red, green and blue light to create colours. When set to white, all three RGB channels are mixed together to approximate white. RGB+CCT strip adds dedicated warm-white and cool-white channels, producing more natural and practical white illumination.
Does this strip produce genuine white light?
Yes. Unlike standard RGB strip, this product contains dedicated white-light LEDs. It can provide genuine warm white, neutral white and cool white light rather than relying only on a mixture of red, green and blue.
What white colour temperatures are available?
The white light can be adjusted from approximately 2700K warm white through neutral white to approximately 6500K daylight white using a compatible RGB+CCT controller.
Can the coloured and white lighting be controlled separately?
Yes. A compatible RGB+CCT controller allows you to select RGB colours or use the dedicated white-light channels. The exact controls and functions depend on the controller being used.
Is this COB LED strip dotless?
The high-density 660 LEDs per metre COB construction creates a smooth and virtually dotless lighting effect. The final appearance may depend on the installation, viewing distance and aluminium profile or diffuser being used.
What is COB LED tape?
COB stands for chip on board. COB LED tape uses a high density of closely positioned LED chips to produce a smooth and continuous line of light, reducing the visible spotting associated with conventional LED strip lighting.
Do I need a special controller?
Yes. A compatible five-channel RGB+CCT controller is required to operate the colour, dimming and adjustable-white functions. An RGB-only, RGBW or single-colour controller will not provide full control of this strip.
Can I control the strip using an app?
Yes, when the strip is connected to a compatible app-enabled RGB+CCT controller. Depending on the selected system, control may be available through a smartphone app, handheld remote or compatible smart-home platform.
Do I need a 24V power supply?
Yes. This product operates at 24V DC and must be connected to a correctly rated 24V constant-voltage LED power supply. It must not be connected directly to a 230V mains supply.
How do I calculate the required power-supply size?
Multiply the installed tape length by the maximum rated consumption of 22W per metre. For example, 5m may require up to approximately 110W and 10m may require up to approximately 220W. Additional capacity should be allowed rather than operating the power supply continuously at its maximum rating.
What is the maximum length on one power supply and controller?
We can configure a system with up to 15m of tape per correctly rated RGB+CCT controller and 24V power supply. The final design must account for controller capacity, power-supply capacity, cable size, voltage drop and power injection.
Can I install more than 15 metres?
Yes. Longer installations can be divided into additional sections, with each section using its own compatible controller and power supply. The controllers can then be grouped so all sections operate together.
Can multiple sections work from one remote or app?
Yes. When compatible controllers are used, multiple independently powered sections can be assigned to the same zone or group and controlled together from one remote control or app.
Can this LED strip be cut to size?
Yes. The strip can be cut every 30mm at the marked cutting points. It should only be cut directly through the indicated cutting line, as cutting elsewhere may damage the electrical circuit.
What width is the LED tape?
The tape is 12mm wide. Ensure that any connectors, aluminium profiles and installation channels are suitable for the tape width and RGB+CCT conductor arrangement.
Can separate pieces be connected together?
Yes. Separate sections may be joined using compatible 12mm RGB+CCT COB strip connectors or correctly soldered cable connections. Check the conductor arrangement and connector compatibility before ordering.
Should the tape be installed in aluminium profile?
Aluminium LED profile is strongly recommended for a neat professional finish, additional physical protection and improved heat dissipation, particularly because this is a high-output 22W per metre LED strip.
What lengths are available?
Available options include 1m, 5m, 10m, 20m, 30m, 40m, 50m and 100m.
Does the listing include a power supply or controller?
Unless specifically stated in the selected product option, the listing is for the RGB+CCT COB LED strip tape only. Controllers, remote controls, power supplies, connectors, cable and aluminium profiles are available separately.
What does the 7-year warranty cover?
The product is supplied with a 7-year warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms and correct installation. The tape must be operated using compatible, correctly rated equipment and installed with suitable heat management.
