No contract for the sale of any product will subsist between you and Manningham Lighting & Electrical unless and until Manningham Lighting & Electrical accepts your order through confirmation in the PayPal payment system. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time you click to purchase on our website (whether or not you receive an e-mail confirmation). The completion of the PayPal checkout amounts to an acceptance by Manningham Lighting & Electrical of your offer to buy goods from Manningham Lighting & Electrical.
1d. Manningham's web store will display these terms and conditions, and may be amended in accordance with paragraph 9 below from time to time.
2a. You must check that the details on your order confirmation are correct as soon as possible and you should print out and keep a copy of it.
2b. You undertake that all details you provide to Manningham Lighting & Electrical for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered.

2e. Item Availability - While we try to maintain accurate quantity in our listing, items listed in Web Stores may be sold elsewhere before the listing ends. If you bought an out of stock item, we will cancel your order and issue a refund.
- Payment & Shipping
3a. All prices are in Pounds Sterling (£) and include sales taxes (where applicable) unless otherwise stated.
3b. Every purchase you make shall be deemed performed in the United Kingdom. United Kingdom law shall govern every aspect of contractual agreement concerning purchases made from this web-site.
3c. Manningham Lighting & Electrical ensures the shipment of all items in stock within 2 working days to UK destinations.
3d. Our standard 30days returns policy applies to all purchases from Manningham Lighting & Electrical web store.
3e. We ship all items under 2kg by Royal Mail 2nd Class standard service. Royal Mail aim to deliver all 2nd class business mail within 3days to 90% of the UK urban population and within 15days (maximum) to off-shore, remote and rural locations.
3d. For larger items and combined order weight over 5kg are shipped using a next day service – as standard. We use Interlink Express. Our shipping software will automatically send you dispatch and tracking details for any item sent by courier. All parcels are insured as standard for £50 - however, terms & conditions do apply and parcel must be signed as unchecked when delivered. Insurance cover can be upgraded at request. - Delivery & Title of Goods
4a. The period stated within which you will receive your order is approximate. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order and stated in Order Confirmation. Please note that your goods may be sent to you in installments.
4b. Title to any product ordered will pass to you once Manningham Lighting & Electrical has received payment in full for that product.
4c. If your delivery address is outside of the United Kingdom you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; Manningham Lighting & Electrical advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information.
4d. Please note that when shipping products internationally you should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
- Order Cancellation, Returns & Refunds
5a. You may cancel your order at any time prior to your order being dispatched by informing us in writing by mail or email email@example.com. You may also withdraw from the contract after the product has been dispatched and you have received order confirmation by sending us a notice of cancellation by email to firstname.lastname@example.org ensuring that you quote your name, address and order reference number;
5b. Where you have already received the goods, returning the goods to Manningham Lighting & Electrical undamaged, within 14 days of purchase.
5c. Once Manningham Lighting & Electrical receive notification from you that you wish to withdraw from the contract (in accordance with these terms) any sum debited to Manningham Lighting & Electrical from your credit card in relation to your order will be re-credited to that credit card account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order provided that the goods you wish to return are received by Manningham Lighting & Electrical unused, undamaged and within 14 days of purchase.
5d. In the unlikely event of a faulty item or dead-on-arrival (DOA) item please contact us within 14days of your purchase. The item must be returned in its original packaging. All refunds or replacements are at the discretion of Manningham Lighting & Electrical once the item has been checked for fault or damage. If the claim is valid either a full refund will be issued or a replacement sent out free of charge. All items sold with free delivery will be liable to £10 admin fee to cover the outgoing postage costs in non-fault instances.
5e. Please note all returns sent back to us are sent at the customers cost.
5f. We aim to process any refund or cancellation requests within 2 working days of receiving such request. We shall inspect and refund any payment in respect to returned goods with 2 working days.
- Warranty & Liability
6a. Manningham Lighting & Electrical standard warranty on any product sold is 30days from purchase. New products carry a standard 12months manufacturer’s guarantee - subject to warranty registration. In the event of a claim please contact the manufacturer directly. Graded and Second-hand goods have limited warranty. Our standard warranty on second hand goods is 30days – unless stated otherwise in the item page. Electrical & gas/petrol engine powered goods should be tested by a qualified technician before use. Manningham Lighting & Electrical can not be held responsible for any adverse function, damage or loss resulting from performance of item.
6b. Manningham Lighting & Electrical does not accept liability for any errors and omissions and reserve the right to change information, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services.
6c. Manningham Lighting & Electrical will do its best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified of them.
6d. To the fullest extent permitted by Law, Manningham Lighting & Electrical, is providing this website and its content on an “as is” basis and makes no (and expressly disclaims all) representations and warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, with respect to this website or the information, content, materials or products included in this site, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In addition, Manningham Lighting & Electrical does not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this website inaccurate, complete or current.
6e. Manningham Lighting & Electrical do not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of the Manningham Lighting & Electrical website or for any products or services purchased from Manningham Lighting & Electrical.
6f. Manningham Lighting & Electrical will only be liable for direct loss up to a maximum total of the price of the product or service purchased in respect of any claim.
- Complaints, Damaged Goods & Non Delivery

Please provide full details of the nature of your complaint, including the products purchased, your order number, your name, address, daytime telephone number, email address and any other information which you think will assist us in resolving your problem as quickly as possible.
7b. In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form,Manningham Lighting & Electrical shall, at its own option, make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods, or refund to you the amount you paid for the goods in question provided that you notify Manningham Lighting & Electrical of the problem within 48hours of receiving item.
7c. In the unlikely event that you do not receive the shipment or your item is lost in transit. All shipments are insured against loss. However, the carrier will require 10working days before a claim can be raised. Royal Mail may require 15days grace period before a claim can be lodged.
7d. Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights.
- Business Use
8a. If you are planning to use the Goods for Business purposes you should make sure that you are covered by the appropriate insurance. Where you decide to use the Goods in the course of a business, we exclude (to the fullest extent permitted by law) those warranties and conditions relating to fitness for a particular purpose. Our maximum liability to business users arising out of or in connection with the products shall be limited to the replacement value of the product in question. In relation to business users, we do not accept liability for the Fitness of Goods for business purposes, nor do we accept liability for loss of use of the item nor any loss over and above the cost of the item in the event of a claim for breach of warranty or condition.
9a. It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught willfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
9b. Manningham Lighting & Electrical may amend these terms and conditions from time to time, and place the new version on the web-site. All purchases from the date that the amended terms are placed on our web-site onwards will be governed by those new terms.
9c. These terms and conditions shall apply when Manningham Lighting & Electrical accepts your order through the website after PayPal confirmation. They shall supersede any and all other conditions, understandings, commitments, agreements or representations (except fraudulent misrepresentations) relating to your purchase, whether oral or in writing, and contain the entire agreement between Manningham Lighting & Electrical and you relating to your purchase. Manningham Lighting & Electrical advises that you print off and keep safe a copy of these terms and conditions once your order has been accepted by Manningham Lighting & Electrical.
9d. These terms and conditions are subject to the laws and exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales.
