Installation Advice

Before installation, ensure the mounting surface is clean, stable and suitable for the fixing method being used. Because this is an IP68 protected product, do not puncture, crush or damage the waterproof coating. Avoid tight bends, twisting or pulling the tape, as this may compromise the internal circuit or waterproof seal.

For the best professional finish, support and heat management, we recommend installing the strip inside a suitable aluminium LED profile .

This product requires a compatible 24V LED driver or power supply. The driver must be correctly rated for the total wattage of the installed tape. As the tape consumes 10W per metre, a 5m run uses approximately 50W and a 10m run uses approximately 100W.

We recommend allowing additional driver capacity rather than operating the power supply continuously at its maximum output. Longer LED strip runs may require power to be supplied at more than one point to reduce voltage drop and maintain consistent brightness.

Electrical connections must be completed using suitable waterproof connectors or correctly soldered cable joints. All cut ends, joints and cable-entry points must be fully resealed to maintain the IP68 protection. Always check tape width, polarity and connector compatibility before installation.
